I’d been searching for a comfy robe that wasn’t 100% polyester (?), and this one is a blend of cotton/poly. It’s nearly perfect: warm (but not TOO warm), has pockets, and sleeves that aren’t too wide (they won’t catch fire over a stove). It’s weighty, but it doesn’t drag me down. As advertised, it feels like being hugged by a blanket, which is my favorite feeling ever.The quality is very good, and I washed it before wearing (as I always do with any garment): I washed in cool water and dried on low (bumped to medium for the last 30 minutes), and it didn’t shrink. Thank goodness, because it fit like a glove out of the box. The fabric doesn’t have much (if any) stretch, so be sure to err on the larger side. I’m 5’7” and about 130 pounds, and I got a medium. It fits perfectly, but I could have gone larger, and then I wouldn’t have to worry about laundering it using warm water/heat.TL;DR: I love it!
